Terms of Service
The agreement between Robovue and the business that creates a workspace. Robovue is sold to businesses only.
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between Ryan Spike, a sole trader trading as Robovue (address: 34 Locomotive Way, Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, NE8 3FN, United Kingdom) (“Robovue”, “we”), and the business that creates a workspace (“you”, the “customer”).
- Robovue is sold to businesses only, not to consumers.
- The person accepting these terms confirms they have authority to bind that business.
- You accept these terms by creating a workspace, joining one, or subscribing to a paid plan.
- Our Data Processing Agreement forms part of these terms.
2. The service
Robovue monitors automation bots that you run on other platforms. It receives run reports from your bots, shows them in a dashboard, and alerts you when a bot fails or stops reporting. It also reports on your fleet as a whole. Your bots keep running wherever they already run: Robovue never starts, stops or changes them.
Robovue is a monitoring tool, not a guarantee. Whether an alert reaches you depends on your bot reporting, the network, and email or Slack delivery. Don’t rely on Robovue as the only safeguard for anything where a missed alert would cause serious harm.
3. Your account
- Each workspace belongs to one business. An Admin can invite and remove members, and is responsible for who has access.
- Keep your sign-in details, and the workspace’s API keys and webhook secrets, confidential. Anything done with them is treated as done by you. If you think one has leaked, rotate it from the dashboard.
4. Plans and billing
- Plans. Free, Team and Business, with the prices, bot limits and run-history windows shown on our pricing page on the day you subscribe. Plans are not priced per seat.
- People. Every plan includes unlimited people under fair use, within the limits on our pricing page. Running extra workspaces to get round a plan’s limits isn’t allowed; an agency can still keep one workspace for each client.
- Extra bots. Once you’re paying for Team, an Admin can add bots on the Billing page in blocks of 25, at £19 a month each, up to 200 bots. A block you add is charged straight away for the rest of the billing month. Removing extra bots takes effect at your next renewal; you keep them until then and there’s no refund or credit for the rest of the period.
- Payment. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Link, Stripe’s reseller service. Link is the seller of record for each payment:
- it charges you, and sends your receipts and invoices;
- it calculates, collects and pays any VAT or sales tax;
- it may show and charge the price in your local currency;
- its own terms apply to the payment.
Prices on our pricing page are in GBP and include any tax.
- Trial. Each workspace can try the Team plan free for 14 days, once, without a card. When the trial ends, the workspace goes back to Free unless you subscribe. If you subscribe during the trial, your first charge is on the day the trial would have ended, unless you choose to pay straight away; then the whole free days you haven’t used come off your first payment. If less than 49 hours of the trial are left, you’re charged straight away. Once subscribed, you can end the free days early and pay straight away from the Billing page.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails, paid features keep working while Stripe retries it. If it still hasn’t been paid when Stripe stops retrying, the workspace moves to Free.
- Price changes. We’ll email you at least 30 days before a price change applies to an existing subscription.
- Refunds. Fees already paid are not refundable. The exceptions are:
- where the law requires a refund;
- where we end the service under section 12;
- where Link issues a refund under its own policies, which can happen up to 60 days after a payment.
5. Changing plan, cancelling, and going over a limit
- You can change plan or cancel at any time from the billing portal in the dashboard, or cancel from your Link account. Extra bots on Team are changed on the Billing page. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you’ve paid for, and the workspace then moves to Free.
- Moving to a smaller plan keeps your data: your bots, settings and alert setup all stay. Two things change:
- run history older than the new plan’s window is deleted by the daily clean-up;
- features the new plan doesn’t include are paused. Their settings are kept, and they come back if you upgrade.
- If you have more bots than your plan includes:
- every bot keeps alerting for 14 days;
- after that, only as many bots as the plan includes keep alerting: the ones an Admin chooses, or otherwise the longest-standing;
- the rest keep recording runs but don’t send alerts, until you archive or delete bots, or upgrade.
We email the workspace’s Admins when this starts, 3 days before it takes effect, and when it takes effect.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- send us data you have no right to send;
- send special-category data (such as health or biometric data), or payment card numbers, in run reports, payloads or attachments;
- use the service to break the law, or to store or send malicious code;
- try to access other customers’ data, probe or load-test the service, or get around rate limits or plan limits;
- resell the service, or use it to build a competing product.
Run reports and screenshots can contain whatever your bot saw. That’s why screenshot attachments are off by default. If you turn them on, you’re responsible for what they capture.
We may suspend access that breaks this section or puts the service or other customers at risk. If we do, we’ll tell you why and restore access once the problem is fixed, unless the breach is serious.
7. Your data
You own the data you send to Robovue (“Customer Data”). You give us permission to process it only to provide and support the service, as set out in the Data Processing Agreement. We may use aggregated information that doesn’t identify you or any individual, such as total run counts, to run and improve the service.
8. Our intellectual property
We own Robovue, including its software, SDKs and documentation. While you have a subscription, we give you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it. There are two exceptions: the .NET and Python SDKs are open source under the MIT licence, and the code examples in Robovue’s Connections pages are under the MIT-0 licence, so you can copy them into your own software. Those licences, not these terms, govern that code, and they don’t end when your subscription does. If you send us feedback, we can use it freely.
9. Availability and support
We aim to keep Robovue available at all times, and live status is on our status page. Plans don’t include a service level agreement. Where we can, we’ll announce planned maintenance on the status page. Support is by email to contact@robovue.co.uk.
10. Liability
- Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow to be limited.
- Neither of us is liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, or for indirect or consequential loss.
- Otherwise, each party’s total liability under these terms in any 12 months is limited to whichever is greater: the fees you paid us in those 12 months, or £100.
- We provide the service with reasonable skill and care. Beyond that, and as far as the law allows, we give no other warranties. In particular, we don’t promise that every failure will be detected or every alert delivered.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We’ll email workspace Admins at least 30 days before a change that materially affects you takes effect. If you don’t agree to it, you can cancel before then.
12. Ending the agreement
- You can end it at any time by cancelling your plan and deleting your workspace from the Account page. Deleting a workspace cancels any subscription immediately and removes its data, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- We can end it with 30 days’ notice. If we do, we’ll refund any fees you’ve paid for the period after it ends.
- Either of us can end it immediately if the other seriously breaches these terms and doesn’t fix the breach within 14 days of being told about it.
13. General
- Governing law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
- Transfer. We may transfer this agreement, including the Data Processing Agreement, to a company we own or control, or to a buyer of the Robovue business. We’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice by email, and the new operator takes on all our obligations to you. You may transfer this agreement only with our written consent.
- Notices. Notices to us go to contact@robovue.co.uk. Notices to you go to your workspace Admins’ email addresses.
- Events outside our control. Neither of us is liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control.
- Whole agreement. If any part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. These terms, the Data Processing Agreement and the pricing page are the whole agreement between us about the service.
