Accessibility Statement
Robovue's commitment to WCAG 2.2 AA, its known limitations and how to report a barrier.
Robovue should work for everyone who uses it, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, larger text or a small screen.
Standard and status
We design and test the Robovue app (app.robovue.co.uk), this site (robovue.co.uk) and the emails Robovue sends to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.
How we check
We test ourselves, with automated checks and by hand: keyboard use, visible focus, zoom and text spacing, small screens, and both light and dark themes. We check again whenever the interface changes.
Known limitations
- Signing in, signing up and resetting a password happen on pages run by our sign-in provider, Amazon Cognito. We set their logo and colours, which meet WCAG’s contrast minimums, but we can’t change their structure: they have no main heading or landmark, and one link on the sign-in page is smaller than WCAG’s minimum target size.
- The verification and password reset code email is also sent by Amazon Cognito. We can’t set its language or give it a plain-text version.
- Mail clients restyle emails, dark mode most of all, so an email can look different from how we designed it.
Report a barrier
If something doesn’t work with the way you use the web, email contact@robovue.co.uk. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do and, if you can, the assistive technology you use. We’ll reply and fix genuine barriers.
